About the Role:

Leap is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of its cloud infrastructure and ensure smooth, scalable, and secure operations. This role involves managing cloud services, ensuring zero-downtime deployments, automating scaling, and supporting development teams during their cycles. You will also monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and adopt best practices to strengthen the reliability of systems.

What You Will Do:

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Ensure zero-downtime deployments and auto-scaling during traffic surges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production infrastructure issues.
• Support developers with environment-related challenges during build cycles.
• Own and manage alerting, monitoring, and incident response systems.
• Stay updated with evolving DevOps best practices and apply them.

Key Technical Skills:

AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, VPC), Docker, Kubernetes, Bash, Python, Nginx, Git, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack

Requirements:

• 1.5–3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, and VPC.
• Strong knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Ability to configure and manage Nginx as a reverse proxy, load balancer, and web server.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Database management experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis.
• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and best practices in CI/CD.
